About Me

I am a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend and a Multiple Sclerosis fighter. I think humor is the best medicine along with Xanax and Lortab. I also think sarcasm and whether or not you know how to use it and take it is a reasonable way to measure a person. I use to love the heat but now it hates me so I’m becoming closer with the cold. I love to read even if I often forget what I’ve read. I love music and wish I could sing and play the guitar, in my head I’m pretty awesome at both. I hope to make connections here in the blogosphere and maybe find help and be of some as well.

Hi there! I am a writer with Everydayhealth.com (29 million readers monthly!) working on an article about MS and MRIs and, specifically, how to survive the MRI experience. I see that you’ve been a few of those and I was hoping you could do an interview with me this week so we can talk about your experience with MS and MRIs, and perhaps you can provide some survival tips for our readers. Let me know! I know it’s a lot to ask, but there’s more – my editors like to include a photo and real names if possible (your blog seems somewhat anonymous, so if that’s a concern, no worries)

    • Madeline, I have visited Everydayhealth.com many times and have appreciated the help I have found there so I would love to give back if I can! I have been working my way out of anonymity here as I am learning to own my disease instead of the other way around. Let me know how I can help- Michelle :)
